Currier Art Show - Open House

Tonight was the boys' art show at the Currier Museum in Manchester.  The museum does such a great job during open house nights...they have goodies to eat and drink while you walk the Art Center and look at all of the art the students have been working on throughout the semester.  They even did face painting for the kids this year.  Wait until you see Aaron!  I tell you, he doesn't mess around when he wants his face painted.  The more color, the better!

Noah and Kadin are finishing up with their drawing class and Aaron did a fun class called "Creative Fluff - Fun with Fibers for Children."  They have the next 2 weeks to finished up some of the works below.  Here are some pics of their works of art and of the silly boys we have...  :)

Noah's still life - not quite done painting yet

From Aaron's class - pet rocks.  His pet is on the lower right corner with all the eyes...  :)  They spun the wool, dyed it themselves with their favorite colors (natural dyes), and wrapped the rocks themselves.  Pretty cool for 4 and 5 year olds!

Aaron named him "Eyeballs"  He can't wait to bring him home next week.

More pet rocks!

Noah's soccer ball...very tame compared to the others!

Matthew's first face painting experience.  He had them add a sun on the other cheek before we left, like his brother Kadin.

Kadin's rainbow and sun.

The wild man Aaron...and he wanted more after all of this!!

The crew!!
