I hate to exercise.
I have tried everything from walking, running, eliptical, aerobics... I just don't like it! But I am at the point in my life where I absolutely need to do something. My doctor says it's a great way to release stress, so I guess that should be reason enough for me to start! Not that I'm overly stressed, but my house can get quite loud at times with 4 boys and 2 dogs!!
So I am going to have a healthier 2010! I am going to eat better and drink more water. Al and I got a treadmill and I purchased "The Firm" exercise program on Craigslist a couple of months ago. Since Friday I have been faithfully getting on that treadmill and doing one of the many "weight loss and fat burn" programs on the thing. It has an iPod port, so I blast my Favorites and get through my 30 minutes. I hate to admit it, but I actually feel better!! Today I previewed The Firm DVD's...I'm in for torture. But I am determined to wear shorts and a non-mama bathing suit this summer! :-)
I want accountability too...so that's why I'm posting this here. When you see me...ask me how it's going! I promise I'll tell you the truth...
You go, girl!! Sounds like you have motivation AND a good system set up there...a great combo! I have neither.
